The complete content of this blog contains almost all editions of Writers Site News, solo ads, writing updates, submission calls, announcements, in other words all of the lettered missives we have emailed to our writers over the years. Please read this whole page for instructions on how to use this blog effectively.
This area was created to allow newer members of our web site, located at http://www.fwointl.com, the opportunity to backtrack to past writing announcements they may have missed receiving through our mailing list.
It is not intended to replace receiving our mailings though because we only update this blog as time allows and time is scarce around here. We strongly recommend that you read each Writer’s Site News that is emailed to you so that you are kept informed about our system and current writing events and offerings.
Feel free to browse around, but be aware that these postings are dated. Some are no longer valid or applicable to our website. The more current the date, the more likelihood the writing links and offers are valid. To use a link, copy and paste it into your browser address bar.
You can also search specific words such as markets, submissions, call, contest, special, product, volunteer, etc. through the various entries. Clicking the title of the first search result shown will display the email that the word is located within, and if there are additional emails containing the word you can find them using the “previous” command at the bottom of the screen.
The “previous” command also holds true if you are browsing by month: Clicking on any given month will take you to the last posting of that month. To see additional postings in that month (usually 2-4) use the “previous” command at the bottom of the screen.
With the installation of this software in November, 2005, and the implementation October, 2006, we are freed from archiving at Blogger and have additional control over site content without the use of third party systems thereby providing you with further privacy. We hope you find the contents useful.
