I
nkwell Newswatch is on hiatus for 2008 so it looks like I'll have time to kick back umm, well, not exactly. The FWO will go through a site rebuild, lots of behind the scenes work will take place, and IN will re-emerge in 2009. The time will whiz past quicker than any of us now think, and sage wisdom and articles on how-to write, what-if, and much more will return along with all the other features of the FWO and the amazing resources you've come to expect.

I'm excited about the rebuild and overhaul; I'm a person who likes to embrace change and challenge. Though I personally don't get involved with the techie side of things, I'll be with those who do in spirit, and they know who they are!

The past several years of writing articles for IN have been exciting and challenging, and I've loved every minute of it. Thinking and writing about what a new writer needs to know, what he or she wants to know, and how to get that information out clearly so as to impart some of my experience this has been the challenge. Exciting is how it has been facing that blank page and accomplishing those goals every month. No matter how much experience a writer has, the blank page remains a blank page waiting for your words. It always will.

I hope some of that advice and my relaying some of my experiences along the way has been of help to many a writer. Those of us associated with IN also hope you will join us when the relaunch begins and we come back even bigger and better than before.

In the mean time I'll just pass my time writing like all of you should be doing. I'm working on a romance aimed for completion in 2008 (I've published two in the past with Harlequin). Then the hunt for a publisher begins.

I'm also ghostwriting a ghost hunting book, which might be released by spring of 2008, though that date is a bit amorphous at the moment. The guys in the field are out tussling with ghosts and occasionally running like kids scared of the dark just to bring this book to the world. Believe me, their tales are strange indeed. It will be one fascinating book.

Take care, guys, work hard, grow, and Inkwell Newswatch will soon be back.IN Icon
